Batam 2011

Pfft! I've finally got some pictures to blog about! EVEN THOUGH, I completely forgot to bring the camera and thomas forgot his shades -.- We were just this close to taking the later ferry, cause we wanted to go back and get it!

But anyway, our time spent there was mainly grocery shopping, eating & laughing. Grocery shopping cause, the clothes there were just not the sg kinda clothes ): only one or two stores in the whole shopping mall will sell the kinda clothes I wear. So, we didnt get much clothes. I got 2 shorts, just for fun, for 3 sgd each. Like those to wear at home kinda shorts.

The corn there is also, superbbb! For like less than a dollar. Probably 70 cents? You get this cup of corn with not only butter but condensed milk! Its super goooood. We made it a point to have it everyday while we were there. The food was just too cheap and good.

The first day, we walked to the nearby mall. It had soooo many shops, we walked to shop for like 1.5hrs, and bought nth but the minute we stepped into the supermarket, we bought like $30 worth of stuff. Super funny right -.- & i bought soya sauce, cornbeef, a carton of indomie & like stupid things like soap bars? (50 cents each!) And red bull's also 50cents for a glass bottle. Srsly. SO CHEAP. 

So yeah, my aunty self. And this happened for the next 2 days as well cause we went into like 6 diff supermarkets just to stock up food like crackers and whatever else. Even packet milo and ovaltine. HAHAHA.

Went to have A&W there too. Dont like fast food but the rootbeer float's rlly good. I guess, the 4 of us really had a good time to spend tgth. Thomas and I will just argue non stop about things while shengwei just always wants to drag me outta bed cause I always wanna sleep in. Ohwell, holiday is either play or rest to someone. For me, it was more of a rest.

Gotta really sit down everyday to read His word, spend time reflecting and also sharing my thoughts. Superbly grateful for wifi nearly 80% of the time. Esp in the hotel. Would say what we got what we paid for. & really thank God for keeping all of us safe, and both of the guys to look aft us. Making sure, only THEY go out to get stuff at night and bestie and I would stay in the room. Ah, its a bliss to have the both of them!

OH AND OUR MASSAGE WAS SUPER WORTH IT! We managed to get 1.15 hours for 12 sgd. Super good and worth every cent.

Thats about it for the trip? Gonna be in sg this week and off i go again to jkt to find devyyyyy. I forsee a really good trip and another round of spending time with God and seeking Him. This time it'd be much more meaningful with a sister in Christ. Would be really really great.

So, spam driving this week & working (which i rlly dk if im gonna carry on) Will see about it!
